Christus Consolator
Christ stands on a fragmented slab of rock, implying that He is the “rock of our salvation.” As He stands with outstretched arms, two male figures lean against Him, seeking peace and refuge. Their inclined figures form the base of a triangular composition and direct the eye to the compassionate face of the Savior. A widow wearing a black veil stands behind the child who peers out at the viewer.
Framing available for canvas prints between 10 & 21 inches.
Canvas prints are rolled and packaged in a shipping tube. Paper prints that are smaller than 14” are shipped flat and prints that are larger than 14” are rolled and shipped in a shipping tube.
Framed work is wrapped in packaging foam and shipped in a framed art box.
We are a small Museum Store, orders are fulfilled Monday-Friday. Custom orders such as large-scale prints will take up to 5 days to prepare, framed pieces can take up to two weeks.
